Mr. Dickey is an experienced credit underwriter, who has been involved in the FHA/HUD origination and underwriting business for over 15 years. Prior to joining White Oak Healthcare Finance, Mr. Dickey was a senior underwriter within the Lancaster Pollard affiliate of ORIX Real Estate Capital where he most recently served as Deputy Chief Underwriter. In addition to his role as Deputy Chief Underwriter, he served as a member of the firm’s credit committee, and as the firm’s primary underwriter for FHA 242 (hospital) transactions, USDA CF transactions, and municipal bond underwritings. Mr. Dickey has focused his efforts on the analysis, underwriting, and execution of senior living and healthcare transactions across a broad range of rehabilitations, acquisitions, new construction, refinances. He has a thorough understanding of both conventional and federal financing structures for both taxable and tax-exempt borrowers, including the FHA/HUD, and USDA loan programs. He has worked on over 250 transactions totaling in excess of $4 billion. He is considered an expert on the FHA healthcare programs and worked extensively with FHA leadership on policy and underwriting issues, including the issuance of the current FHA 232 and 242 guidelines. Mr. Dickey earned his MBA from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School and graduated with honors from Georgia Tech. He holds General Securities Representative licenses, Series 7 and Series 63, and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter.
